Small city. Big fear. A legend that spiraled.
This tee is part of our Dark Victoria series—original artwork inspired by the eerie side of Victoria, BC folklore. Styled like a vintage horror poster, it’s meant to feel like a grim headline from another era—shadowed skyline, watching silhouettes, and the sense that the story is bigger than the truth.
The folklore behind the design
This piece is a nod to the 1980s–90s “Satanic Panic” era, and the Victoria-connected wave of fear and sensational stories sparked in part by Michelle Remembers. It’s about capturing that unsettling cultural moment: how rumour, media, and moral panic can turn a place into a backdrop for nightmares.
