I’m Horrible – In No Way Fresh” Parody Tote Bag | 80s Canadian Coffee Shop Satire

Remember when a certain Canadian coffee-and-doughnut chain actually felt like a neighbourhood donut shop? This tote bag is a tongue-in-cheek love letter to that era and a jab at what happens when cozy cafés become sprawling fast-food empires.
Featuring the bold “I’m Horrible – In No Way Fresh” graphic, this design riffs on an iconic 1980s coffee-shop logo to comment on the reality of today’s franchised fast-food world—where bottom-line obsession, precarious labour, and overworked staff can mean burned-out workers and a whole lot less “fresh” in your cup.
Created by Prince Edward Island artist Lenny Gallant (not the singer—the woodworker and designer), each tote is printed in-house at Cutouts Canada in Victoria, BC. A portion of every sale goes to Lenny, so you’re supporting a working Canadian artist as well as an independent brick-and-mortar shop.
This bag is perfect for anyone who cares about workers’ rights, has opinions about fast-food labour practices and temporary foreign worker reliance, or just loves sharp Canadian satire with their morning caffeine.
